Just to share a short story, which I have been telling around. I got this story from an ISOC sister, who shared with us during the exec meeting. Anyway, forget the details, that's not really important. What matters more, is the essence of this story which I hope you guys can ponder and think deeply about it.
The story goes like this. A brother went for solat jemaah at a masjid. Just before he was about to perform his first takbir, the guy next to him started to cry uncontrollably. And the guy continued crying until they finished praying. Being curious and all, the brother asked this guy, why did you cry so profusely...?
And guess what did the guy reply...? (Reenactment) "When I proclaimed the takbir 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah the Almighty), did I really appreciate whatever I said? Do I really ingrain it in my heart that Allah is really the Greatest of all, the one Almighty...? Do I really put Him above everything else...? That was why I cried..."
