Homeless pair finds loot in Brazil, turns it in
SAO PAULO": A homeless Brazilian couple that lives under the bridges of Sau Paolo found a garbage bag filled with 20,000 reals (RM32,000) on a sidewalk on Monday - and promptly turned it in into the police.
Officials said the pair was out for a dawn stroll when they heard an alarm. they walked closer to see what was going on and stunled on a briefcase and a garbage baf full with money. The pair alerted a nearby security guard, asking him to call the police.
"It might be the money stolen last week from a Japanese restaurant." a police spokesman said.
Jesus Santos, the man who found the money, said: "My mother never taught me to steal."
