summum bonum

i find great honour to assert that the Western argument that the summum bonum points in the direction of mutual exclusivity between the physical and moral fulfillment is just absent in Islam. and as Islam actually integrates both as admissible to be an identity of each other, I am befuddled and bewildered by the silence on the part of the academicians who must have noticed how this pattern of the absence of 'opportunity cost', to use the economics allusion, but still fail to bring this to the attention of the general public.
I wish that this will soon be realised by many in the Western academic world and Islam will be considered as the ultimate option in which the dilemma of the mutually exclusive nature of the summum bonum is finally reconciled.
